Digital Imaging Resource Center30 years experience in traditional photography has resulted in expanding into digital imaging technology since 1996. Today (2005), FLAAR is a leading international source of information on digital cameras, photographic studio equipment and scanners. Dr Nicholas Hellmuth's popular course on digital photography provides help, tips, and practical experience to photographers who want to study at home via the internet, but prefer a course of professional standards such as that from FLAAR.
Volunteer program for students in digital imaging and digital photography FLAAR offers occasional intern, coop or volunteer positions for students in digital imaging and digital photography, at both its campuses, in Guatemala or at BGSU in Ohio. We accept students who speak German and naturally Esnglish or Spanish. This digital imaging research center in Guatemala makes it possible for archaeologists, students, and photographers to learn about advances in digital printing (as well as scanning, large format digital photography, etc.) The facility and program is designed by Dr. Nicholas M. Hellmuth and coordinated through university's Vice-Rector, Max Holzheu who is the architect who is facilitating this program on campus.
