Bedigital PUV2x3R flatbed UV-curable wide-format inkjet printer
Since this is a rebranded GRAPO Octopus Manta flatbed UV-cured printer for rigid materials we have information from two days of visiting the factory in the Czech Republic. So our report on the GRAPO Octopus Manta is simultaneously on the bedigital PUV2x3R version. This FLAAR Report is readily available.

Price and performance comparisons with other dedicated flatbed printers.
As printshops become more sophisticated they quickly realize that they get no skew if they use a dedicated flatbed (skew is an issue with some combo UV-curable and with some hybrid UV-printers).
So most printshops are doing price and performance comparisons with other brands and models of dedicated flatbed UV-cured wide-format inkjet printers. The GRAPO Manta (Bedigital_PUV2x3R) is a perfectly good flatbed printer, just that today there is a lot of competition. And until a site-visit case study opportunity is available, it is not appropriate to issue a recommendation. In other words, we need to find, and visit, an actual printshop that has the Indeed FLAAR now has reports on over a dozen flatbed UV-cured printers, especially on the Bedigital_PUV2x3R in-situ.

Various sizes of the Teckwin TeckUV S3000 dedicated flatbed UV printer are increasingly being displayed. This summer Teckwin invited FLAAR to their manufacturing plant outside Shanghai, plus I saw many dedicated Chinese flatbed printers at the Shanghai signage printer trade show in July. Mimaki invited FLAAR to be their featured speaker at their launch of the Mimaki JV-1631 uv flatbed printer last December. So FLAAR will continue to be the de-facto worldwide resource for information on UV printers.
