Free FLAAR Report

FLAAR specializes in evaluating wide format inkjet printers for in-house, in-plant, corporate work group, corporate departmental.

It is now year 2006, and I about fell off my chair when I saw companies in the UK still offering the Epson Stylus Color 1520. That printer was a turkey in 1999. Hopefully it is not the same printer. It and the Epson 3000 were among the most problematic office printers ever offered. Current Epson 4800 and Epson R-series printers are light years better.

Unless you obtain independent evaluations, if all you read are the pseudo-reviews on the Internet, you may end up with the wrong printer for your business proposals, business presentations, newsletters, brochures, and technical drawings.

Your in-house printing or reprographic facility can profit from adding or expanding wide format inkjet printer services

All corporations, even small companies, need to print ::

  • visitor welcome signs,
  • notices,
  • sign-in procedures,
  • directional signs,
  • floor plans,
  • locational maps of the building, campus, complex,
  • fire safety notices,
  • emergency evacuation maps,
  • safety hazard warnings,
  • health notices,
  • in-house training charts, flip-charts,
  • motivational posters,

FLAAR knows printers, RIPs, color management, media and inks, as well as scanners and digital cameras, Besides, we run two in-house print shops (one for each university where we are situated). So we speak from practical experience also.

So if you are a corporate in-house printing center, in house work group who needs wide format solutions, company in-plant printing department, in-house corporate design departments, print on demand, facilities management, in-plant reprographics department, corporate centralized reprographic departments CRDs, or a college, university, government agency, government bureau who needs to learn about digital imaging, you have arrived at the right place.

The principal report within the series on signs is appropriate for any in-house or in-plant printing facility, for any in-house corporate departmental work group, government, institution, museum, library, university, or college. Obviously also appropriate for sign shops and anyone who aspires to print signs, posters, or banners.

So if the web page itself is not updated, check out www.wide-format-printers.NET to see if the printer, RIP, or other subject is covered in an update in a PDF download.
