Shiraz works on most Canon imagePROGRAF printers such as iPF 8000s, iPF9000s, as well as older Canon imagePROGRAF W8200, W6200, W6400, W8400.

Shiraz works with all Encad NovaJet printers such as the 1000i, which is identical to the Kodak 1200i.

You can use Shiraz with all Epson Stylus Pro printers such as 4000, 7600, 9600, 4800, 7800, 9800 and 11880.

As you would expect of a leading RIP software, Shiraz version 6 works with all HP DesignJet printers.

For industrial strength machines, Shiraz works with the Gandinnivations JET 3300, 5000, and 3150 UV flatbed. Here a competitor would be Caldera GrandRip+.

Plus Shiraz works on most Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland, and Seiko solvent ink printers as well.

We presently have about nine RIPS available, that we have tested in past years. You can get a hold of our evaluations of RIP software by ordering the FLAAR Reports. The versions of the software change faster than we can keep up, so the version number is not that crucial for the review. A review of an earlier version of PosterJet, PosterShop, ScanvecAmiable or whatever is still valid today since many people buy older RIP software used, on eBay or wherever. Just realize that tech support is from the UK. Most European RIP companies do not have full-scale offices or demo rooms in the US.

We are considering adding an evaluation of Shiraz Version 6 RIP software from AIT (Applied Image Technology). We have seen its capabilities at many trade shows in Germany, England, and the US over the past five years.
