JOB Opportunities We currently have three graphic designers and three web designers, a project manager and office manager at our office in Guatemala. In Ohio we had a capable administrative assistant. Since the building we are located in on the campus of BGSU is being torn down, and as the new Dean is orienting the College of Technology in new directions. When we were evaluating water-based printers it made sense to work at a university. But with the larger solvent printers and even larger UV-curing flatbed systems, there is no space at BGSU. So for the last year we have been doing our evaluations at the manufacturers' factory demo rooms and in site-visit case studies at print shops. All FLAAR projects are continuing, indeed expanding. Although we are considering offers from other universities, we will probably continue independently, since UV-cured and solvent inkjet technology are not a focus at any university in the world that we have yet found. If you wish to contact us, write ReaderService@FLAAR.org. However inquiries about printers are accepted only through the Inquiry/Survey Form. We are not able to reply to random inquiries by e-mail (unless you are requesting formal professional consulting services). Please do not telephone because our staff are often at other offices in Latin America. We communicate primarily by e-mail. FLAAR is a non-profit research and educational institute incorporated in the State of Rhode Island with business offices in Ohio and Missouri. FLAAR Mesoamerica is a non-profit association registered in Guatemala, Central America. FLAAR is the #1 resource worldwide for advanced digital imaging, and the de facto source of information for UV-cured flatbed inkjet printers.
