Reviews of Dilli Neo Deluxe UVD-2506(W) will be available shortly

In the world headquarters of Dilli Precision, north of Seoul , Korea , it was possible to inspect the dedicated flatbed printer of the Dilli Neo family: the Dilli Neo Deluxe UVD-2506(W). However since this particular model is rarely presented at trade shows, we will need to undertake additional inspections before we issue our initial report. Hopefully coverage will be available by February 2008.

There is no Agfa rebranding of this particular model, Dilli Neo Deluxe UVD-2506(W)

Agfa rebrand the Dilli Neo Plus as the Agfa : Anapurna X and XL. Agfa rebrands the Dilli Neo Titan as the Agfa :Anapurna M. Agfa rebrands the Dilli Neo Venus as the : Anapurna XL 2.

The Agfa :Dotrix came from several previous companies as is now made by Agfa itself in Europe.

In theory the Agfa : Anapurna X and XL are rebranded as the Mutoh Cobra S65UV and Mutoh Cobra S100uv but these do not appear at the Mutoh America booth at ISA or SGIA trade shows, and not even at FESPA or VISCOM events in Europe. Mutoh showed these rebranded printers only at their joint innaguration with Agfa about two years ago. Since then Agfa and Mutoh have gone different ways, in part due to the failure of Agfa’s eco-solvent ink chemistry and failure of the first version of the innovative “walking feet” feeding system and Xaar-based printheads of the :Anapurna 100 and Mutoh Cobra.

The Anapurna 100 and corresponding Mutoh Cobra were my favorite printers at FESPA 2005 in Munich because of their innovation. But they were barely functioning prototypes and never made it out of alpha stage in the next two years.

Most of our updates for 2008 onward are in FLAAR Reports in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. It is more efficient for us to make new information available in PDF format. So if the web page itself is not updated, check out www.wide-format-printers.NET to see if the printer, RIP, or other subject is covered in an update in a PDF download.
