Wide-format inkjet printing, Jobs Available, and positions sought Print E-mail

Introduction: Positions and jobs in the wide-format inkjet printer industry

As a courtesy to the wide-format printing industry, from time to time we list either a position available, or a capable individual seeking a position. This month we list Ryan Crist. He was a capable intern at Bowling Green State University when FLAAR was headquartered at this university. Since then we have grown so large that not many university campuses have space for us, so we are now independent of the two universities (BGSU in Ohio and UFM in Guatemala City).

Ryan Crist has also worked with FLAAR as a consultant in Dubai.

Here are comments about Ryan Crist. His resume may be downloaded.

Ryan Crist has also worked with FLAAR as a consultant in Dubai.

Ryan Crist is a highly talented printing and graphic arts executive, focusing in the business development and marketing aspects for wide-format, digital and offset printing.

As the Director of Marketing and Solution Sales for the past 3 years, as well as an independent, multinational print consultant for over 5 years, he has gained critical skills including knowledge of sheet-fed and wide-format printing, marketing communications and workflows, web application development and product development. In addition to this time, he has spent an additional 7 years as a marketing and print technologist, marketing communications manager as well as researcher, aiding in the development for Fortune 500 and 100 company solutions.

While at Cockrell Enovation, in Fort Worth, Texas, Ryan generated a 20% increase in sales and a significant increase in profitability through print technology sales and product expansion within a year an a half. In addition to this success, Ryan also trained and guided the sales team on how to sell the value-added solutions for the company as well as initiated and led the solutions sales process. He left Cockrell Enovation due to unfortunate financial circumstances at the company in July of 2013.

Since 2008, Ryan has developed an industry consulting practice as a multinational advisor to organizations in the Middle East, Europe and China. In this role, he helps generate thought leadership and educational content leading to new practices in print technology, and industry development. In doing so, he has gained an extensive background in international business focusing in Europe, Middle East and Asia. This consulting and advisor role has led to several keynote speaking engagements as well as involvement with high-ranking officials and executives with several global brands.

As a self-driven leader, Ryan creates, promotes and leads change for companies who are seeking additional growth, needing to align their marketing efforts with sales objectives as well as build the company on value-added services, not just features and benefits. Are these issues that you currently face?

His depth of expertise in print shops and the industry makes him an excellent fit for a marketing and business development position. Ryan has spent the last 5 years consulting with vendors of the print industry to develop products and business models the help them increase relevancy to the buyer.

We apologize that due to our workload, even with over a dozen staff, we are not able to handle unsolicited requests, and we can handle only companies who have hosted us to visit their world headquarters and/or factories. And for individuals, only individuals with whom we have interacted at trade shows around the world.
